Adults.....

So we were at Best Buy buying my iphone ( which I LOVE ) and my daughter was very tired and bored. My mom was trying to be helpful, so she asked Cassidy to come with her for a minute. Cassidy was being a little hesitant, so my mom asked again. Cassidy looked at her and said " oh fine, but this is the last time I am listening to an adult! " I guess she will figure out sooner than later that that is probably not the case :)!!

Sorry it has been awhile!

So sorry it has been awhile! Allergy season is in full gear here, and I have two little ones who suffer.....so I have been playing doctor mommy! My daughter gave me a great one the other day though!

We were at the kitchen table and she said " I know the worst word in the universe." I said " oh really and what is that?" " You know Mom it's the N word" As I had to think for a minute I said " well spell it for me" She said "nigh". I said " oh really ". She said "yep Boone told me". ( Boone is a little guy in her class ). " He says his dad even says it sometimes when he is really mad !" I cracked up!

Learning.....

I am so thankful for all the positive feedback I have received in starting this! Of course I am still learning the ins and outs of blogging. I thought anyone could post their stories on here whenever they liked.....not the case! I have to add authors, and then you can post. I think the more people we have putting up their funny stories the better! If you email me your info at allisonsherburne@mac.com I will add you as an author and you can post your own adorable stories! Keep em coming! I have heard some pretty good ones the last few days! I may even start some contests on who has the best one of the day! Looking forward to reading......!

6 year old with a checkbook!

At my 10 year olds soccer game this past weekend, my two younger children were (surprise!) not getting along. I decided I had had enough, and told them that for every time they were rude to each other they owed me a dollar. So my daughter was up to two dollars, when she could not help herself and hurt her brothers feelings again. I said " Oh you are up to three dollars ! " She replied " Oh fine I will just write you a check! " Of course I laughed out loud to that one, and never got the money!

Abraham who?

Okay so lately my 4 year old has been on a role! The other day I cashed in my lottery ticket ( hey it supports the schools right? ) and received my 5 dollars. My son was holding it and I asked him who the president on the front of the bill was. He replied " Oh that guy that is Abraham Jenkins "! I said " well you are right! " Later on I tried teaching him Lincoln, but it still comes out Jenkins :)!
